Hi, I’m Christy

I’ve been a nurse for over 15 years, with a background in psychology, oncology, and women’s health. I hold a BA in Psychology from Boston University and a BSN from Grand Canyon University. One of the most meaningful parts of my career was supporting women with breast cancer at Stanford University. That experience confirmed how much I enjoy working with women and strengthened my commitment to advancing medical care that truly centers their needs.

My path to lactation consulting was also shaped by my own motherhood journey. My journey into motherhood was not simple and I struggled with fertility. I eventually welcomed my first son, who was born with Down syndrome. Breastfeeding him was filled with both joy and challenge. Drawing on my medical background, I was able to exclusively breastfeed him for one year—but I experienced firsthand how isolating the process can feel without the right guidance. When my second son was born, I carried with me all I had learned from the struggles of nursing my first.

These experiences inspired me to pursue an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification. I want to walk alongside families, offering the evidence-based knowledge of a nurse and the empathy of a mom who’s been there.

Nurture • Support • Thrive is not just my motto—it’s the heart of the care I provide.
